Music education for

International Schools

Music education at Residentie Orkest The Hague is all about participating, experiencing and making music with the orchestra’s professional musicians. We open the door to a world of symphonic music, an exciting place that is new to many young people. Our educational program fits the objectives of a curriculum that emphasizes creativity and the performing arts perfectly. It also enhances students’ appreciation of the Netherlands and Dutch culture. In addition, the program meets the standard and guidelines of international curricula.

Our passionate, professional musicians offer an exceptionally broad spectrum of activities to stimulate the students’ curiosity. We broaden their musical knowledge, teach them new skills and spark their creativity. Introverted pupils come out of their shells, while tough kids dare to show their sensitive side. We offer both larger projects and individual lessons. And there’s a wide choice of ready-made courses as well as fully customized programs.

"The teachers who helped us in our workshops were really nice and they explained everything. I really like music and these workshops helped us find our talents through instruments! I was upset that the day was over and we should have more trips like this."
