Scrooge in The Hague

In 1992, composer Carl Davis adapted Charles Dickens’s famous Christmas story ‘A Christmas Carol’ into a ballet. It is a timeless tale in which the elderly Scrooge is transformed from miserable miser to generous benefactor. Young and old will identify with the adventures and dreams of the man who lost happiness but fortunately finds it again. Just as they did with the top hit ‘Alice in Winter Wonderland’, De Dutch Don’t Dance Division and the Residentie Orkest bring unique character to this ballet. This is no traditional British interpretation: The Hague and Scheveningen of 1910 play an important role.

A complete afternoon!
Tickets include wardrobe, coffee/tea and a drink during the intermission.
