Dvorák Gala

Sunday 17 December,14:15
Zuiderstrandtheater, The Hague

Bohemian rhapsody

Bohemian folk music melodies inspired Dvorák to write his popular Eighth Symphony. Warm-hearted music with a festive, colourful finale, it’s almost as if the piece were written especially for the Christmas season. The dynamic American conductor Andrew Grams, a popular guest with the orchestra, meets with the sensational German cellist Leonard Elschenbroich. A rising star on the European concert scene according to The New York Times.

We are sorry to inform you that cellist Harriet Krijgh had to cancel all of her concerts due to health reasons. The talented Leonard Elschenbroich will be replacing her for the Dvorák gala.
