Nothing Beats Beethoven

Have another good stretch, splash some water on your face and get ready for a symphonic breakfast with the Residentie Orkest The Hague. Treat your taste buds with aromatic coffee, a delicious bite to eat and some refreshing juice. Then, let our musicians caress your ears with the purest symphonies. Melodies smoother than butter will make Sunday morning the highlight of your week. After the musical feast, there’s still plenty of time for a lovely walk on the beach.

We arrange a good start for your morning.
Preceding the concert we serve coffee, tea, orange juice and a small snack of charge.

Beethoven’s Eroica
A special occasion: Maestro Richard Egarr’s first concert in his role as our principal guest conductor. For this performance, Egarr – Beethoven interpreter par excellence – takes the heroic Symphony No. 3 to his music stand. The composer dedicated the work, which was to go down in history as the first true piece of Romantic music, to his great hero Napoleon, a gesture that he later cancelled out with one angry pen stroke.

“Conductor Richard Egarr tickled the orchestra members with energetic, unruly Beethoven” – VOLKSKRANT
