Antje Weithaas
Antje Weithaas is one of the best violinists of our time. With a friendship dating back to the 1990s, the Residentie Orkest is proud of the many years of collaboration with this virtuoso. Weithaas will perform solo in the Zuiderstrandtheater with Dvořák’s lyrical Violin Concerto, one of the highlights of his rich oeuvre. Jun Märkl will also conduct Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, a favourite for its melancholy and compelling composition.
