Dive into an epic world of sound
Lounging in bed on a Sunday morning? You must be joking! To enjoy the weekend to the full, how about being a few metres from the beach where our musicians and soloists have prepared an unbeatable symphonic breakfast? A palette of sounds like a crispy musical croissant, served with a glass of freshly squeezed romantic freshness. There’s no better way to wake up than Lazy Sunday with the Residentie Orkest.
We arrange a good start to your morning.
Prior to the concert there is coffee, tea, orange juice and something tasty to eat for you.
Dvořák’s most beautiful
Mozart and Dvořák, a great combination for a Sunday morning in early spring. Dvořák wrote his Seventh Symphony in response to Brahms’s magnificent Third. For most composers, this would be reaching a little too high, but not for Dvořák. Music historians rate this symphony even higher than his famous Ninth. With the clarity of Mozart’s Oboe Concerto still ringing in your ears, Dvořák will unfold an epic world of sound: “Love, God and fatherland”, as the master himself described it.
