Masterclassics is always a fantastically relaxed night out. Accessible, inspiring and not too long. You are introduced to top classical pieces and hear fragments of the works by way of illustration. And with the ‘conductor cam’, you get to see the conductor at work. It’s almost as if you are sitting right there in the orchestra. An ideal introduction for those beginning their journey through the classics and for concert-goers who want to get more out of classical music.

There are some masterpieces that you just have to experience live, at least once in your life. These masterpieces are what our Masterclassics series is all about. The series would not be complete without Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G. Our artist in residence, Yeol Eum Son, will perform this classic tonight with jazzy sounds and graceful piano playing, followed by the monumental sounds of Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’.
