A Modern Take on an Ancient Story

However beautiful it might be, at three hours in length the Passion is a long time to sit still. So the premiere of the short version of the last days of Jesus Christ, held in Paard two years ago, was a great success. It sums up the essence of the story of the mysterious man from Nazareth, with arrangements based on Bach’s music and St Matthew’s words. The Residentie Orkest Brass Ensemble, together with percussionists and several singers, present their interpretation of this moving story about light and darkness.
