For this very special Prince’s Day, celebrating 75 years since the Liberation, a composition student at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague will create a new piece based on the theme of freedom. The renowned Mozart performer Ronald Brautigam, a good friend of the Residentie Orkest for many years, returns to The Hague to perform the composer’s charming Piano Concerto No. 17. We celebrate the Beethoven 2020 anniversary year with his First Symphony, a work that is not only an homage to predecessors, such as Haydn and Mozart, but also a promising look into the future.
